Introduction
Welcome to the e-commerce website https://starec.io (“Website starec.io”) and the STAREC sales application (“STAREC App”) provided by STAREC Company Limited.
When ordering any Product on Website STAREC, Customers must ensure they have read and clearly understood these General Terms and Conditions of Transaction. The content of these General Terms and Conditions constitutes a legally binding sales contract between the Customer and the Company. The Customer agrees to be bound by these General Terms and Conditions.
Article 1. Definitions
1.1 The Company: refers to STAREC Company Limited.
1.2 Website starec.io: refers to the e-commerce website owned and legally operated by the Company in accordance with the laws of Vietnam.
1.3 STAREC App: refers to the sales application owned and legally operated by the Company in accordance with the laws of Vietnam.
1.4 Product: refers to goods and services traded on Website/App STAREC.
1.5 Terms and Conditions: refers to these General Terms and Conditions of Transaction and any updated, supplemented, or amended versions provided from time to time, drafted based on current Vietnamese laws.
1.6 Customer: refers to organizations or individuals performing transactions to purchase Products on Website/App STAREC, including: (i) any individual with appropriate civil act capacity to perform transactions under Vietnamese law; and (ii) any organization established and/or operating legally under Vietnamese law.
1.7 Order: refers to the electronic document confirming that the Customer has performed a transaction to purchase Products on Website/App STAREC.
1.8 Recipient: refers to the person designated by the Customer in the Order to receive the goods.
1.9 Customer Service Department: refers to the channel for support, guidance, and resolution of inquiries or complaints from Customers regarding information and activities on Website/App STAREC.
Article 2. Scope of Application
2.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to any and all purchase activities of Products between the Customer and the Company via Website/App STAREC.
Article 3. Product Prices, Invoices, and Payment
3.1 Product Prices
The price of the Product is listed on Website/App STAREC at the time the Order is placed. This price includes VAT as per current law but does not include discounts, shipping fees, or other costs arising at the Customer's request. Shipping fees and other requested costs (if any) will be displayed before the Customer confirms and pays for the Order.
3.2 Invoices
3.2.1 The Company will provide a valid financial invoice for each Order.
3.2.2 The Company issues electronic invoices; Customers must provide an email address to receive them.
3.2.3 The Company will not accept or process requests to amend invoice information once it has been provided by the Customer at the time of Order confirmation.
3.3 Payment Methods
STAREC currently supports all advanced payment methods in Vietnam at all showrooms and on the online website
- Cash on delivery (COD) or cash payment for direct pickup at STAREC showrooms.
- Online payment (Internet Banking/Visa, Master, JCB, VNPAY-QR)
Payments are made in Vietnamese Dong (VND) via the tools/methods provided on Website/App STAREC in accordance with the published Payment Policy.
Customers are kindly requested to check the goods and payment confirmations provided by STAREC in the Order before making payment.
The amount customers must pay to STAREC is the total amount due after deducting any discount codes (if applicable) and plus shipping fees (if applicable), as shown on the website in the "Payment" step.
Article 4. Order Establishment
4.1 Product information: Product information on Website/App STAREC does not constitute an offer to enter into a contract by the Company.
4.2 Contract Formation Steps
Step 1: Customer selects Products on the Website/App.
Step 2: Customer confirms the Order and Terms.
Step 3: Customer chooses method and pays online.
Step 4: Order Confirmation and Contract Effectiveness.
4.3 Order Cancellation
4.3.1 By Customer: Customers may cancel an Order before the Company confirms it by contacting the Hotline or Email.
4.3.2 By Company: The Company reserves the right to cancel Orders in cases of violations, system errors, or force majeure.
Article 5. Promotional Programs
The Company reserves the right to limit the quantity of Products per promotion, per Customer, or per account to ensure fairness. The Company may refuse or cancel Orders if violations of promotional rules are detected.
Article 6. Delivery
6.1 Methods: Standard delivery services as per Shipping Policy.
6.2 Estimated Time: Does not include delays caused by force majeure.
6.3 Geographical Limits: Nationwide, excluding islands and restricted areas.
6.4 Inspection: No "co-inspection" policy. Pay in full before opening.
Customers are required to record a video of the unboxing process as evidence
Article 7. Returns and Exchanges
Returns and exchanges are conducted in accordance with the Company’s Return and Refund Policy published on the Website/App.
Article 8. Obligations
8.1 Company Obligations
Provide accurate Product info, deliver Products with relevant documents, provide warranty services, and resolve complaints.
8.2 Customer Obligations
Provide accurate information, pay in full, inspect the package appearance, and record unboxing videos for evidence.
Article 9. Customer Care
Complaints are received via Hotline or Email. The Customer Service Department will contact the Customer to clarify the request within 5 working days.
Article 10. Product Warranty
Warranties are performed according to the Company’s Warranty Policy updated from time to time on the Website.
Article 11. Information Privacy
All personal and payment information is handled according to the Privacy Policy. Any intentional spreading of information detrimental to the Company’s reputation will be considered a breach of security and handled according to law.
Article 12. Limitation of Liability
12.1 THE COMPANY IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE ONCE THE RISK HAS BEEN TRANSFERRED, UNLESS CAUSED BY THE COMPANY'S FAULT.
12.2 COMPENSATION SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM VALUE OF THE SPECIFIC ORDER.
Article 13. Final Decision Power
The Company reserves the right of final decision regarding promotions, dispute resolution, and system management.
Article 14. Use of Website/App STAREC
14.1 The Company reserves all intellectual property rights for the content on Website/App STAREC.
14.2 Content is for personal reference only; copying for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited.
Article 15. General Provisions
15.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Vietnam.
15.2 Any dispute arising shall be settled through negotiation within 30 days; otherwise, it shall be resolved by the competent State authorities.
15.3 If any part of these terms is deemed invalid by a competent authority, the remaining parts shall remain in full force and effect.
